LogiMAT and ProMat 2027: conveyor and intralogistics animation for exhibitors

Stuttgart in March, Chicago in April. Systems too big for any stand, shown in motion with realistic throughput, built from the layout CAD you already have.

Intralogistics has two fixed dates in spring 2027. LogiMAT opens in Stuttgart from 16 to 18 March 2027, after a record 2026 edition with 1,671 exhibitors from 46 countries and 69,856 visitors. Five weeks later, ProMat fills McCormick Place in Chicago from 19 to 21 April 2027; the 2025 edition reported 1,160 exhibitors and more than 52,000 registrants.

Both shows sell the same thing: systems that are far too large to bring to a stand. A conveyor network, a shuttle system or an automated warehouse only makes sense as a whole, in motion, with goods flowing through it. That makes intralogistics one of the sectors where 3D animation is not a nice extra but the main way to sell.

Why intralogistics sells on animation

A logistics director evaluating a new system needs to see three things, and none of them fit in a 9 by 6 metre stand:

  • The layout. How the system fits into their building, with infeed, buffers, picking stations and shipping.
  • The flow. Totes, cartons or pallets moving at realistic rates, including merges, diverts and peaks.
  • The people. Where operators stand, how ergonomics and safety work, what AMRs or robots take over.

A layout and process animation built from your CAD shows all three, flying over the whole facility and then dropping to a single transfer or picking station.

Use your layout CAD

Most intralogistics suppliers already design layouts in CAD for every quotation. Those layouts, plus the component models of your conveyors, shuttles and racks, are enough to build an animation. Standard modules are prepared once and reused across projects, which makes later customer-specific animations much cheaper.

Show realistic throughput

Visitors at LogiMAT and ProMat are experts. If the film claims 1,200 totes per hour, the totes on screen should move at a rate that looks like it. We animate from your cycle times, not by eye.

Plan for two continents

If you exhibit at both shows, one production can deliver a European edit with metric units and German captions for Stuttgart and a US edit with imperial units for Chicago.

Customer-specific animations for tenders

The highest return on intralogistics animation often comes after the fair. When a prospect asks for a proposal, a short animation of their own building with your proposed layout makes the offer concrete in a way that drawings cannot. It helps the logistics director explain the investment to the board, and it shows you have understood their flow.

Because your standard conveyors, transfers and racks are already prepared from the trade fair project, a customer-specific layout film reuses them. Only the building and the layout are new, which keeps the price of each tender animation well below the first project.

If you do both shows, the LogiMAT dates decide the schedule. Brief by mid December 2026 and the ProMat edit follows with little extra cost.

Questions.

When are LogiMAT and ProMat 2027?

LogiMAT 2027 runs from 16 to 18 March 2027 at Messe Stuttgart. ProMat 2027 runs from 19 to 21 April 2027 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Can you build an animation from our layout drawings?

Yes. Your layout CAD plus the component models of conveyors, shuttles and racks are enough. Standard modules are prepared once and reused across projects.

Can one animation serve both shows?

Yes. One production can deliver a European edit with metric units and German captions and a US edit with imperial units.

What does a warehouse flythrough cost?

Our line and process films start at $7,900 for 60 seconds, CAD preparation included. Station close-up films start at $3,900.
