Terms
Short and clear, so nothing surprises your purchasing department.
Confidentiality
NDA signed before files move. Work is never shown publicly without your written permission, and many of our projects stay unpublished.
Usage rights
On final payment you receive full, permanent, worldwide commercial rights to every delivered render, film and interactive asset, for any marketing, sales, training or documentation use, with no further fees.
Source files
The project files we build to produce them, meaning scene files, shaders, rigs and lighting setups, remain the studio’s working tools, as set out in our mutual NDA. Your own CAD data always stays yours and is deleted on written request.
Payment
Under $5,000: half to start, half before final files. Above that, staged 40, 30 and 30 against milestones. USD or EUR, purchase orders accepted. Invoices come from invoices@3denginuity.com.
Revisions
Each quote states its revision rounds. A round is one consolidated set of changes within the agreed scope.
Deadlines
We plan backwards from your show or launch date and agree milestone dates in the quote. If a date is at risk we tell you immediately, not afterwards.
Smaller budgets
Tell us the number. We will propose the version that fits, or say honestly that we are not the right studio for it.
Pricing questions.
Why do you publish prices when most industrial studios do not?
Because engineers who are quietly researching suppliers want a number before they contact anyone. These are real starting prices, not bait. Complex machines are quoted individually and the quote explains why.
Our budget is smaller than these numbers. Should we still write?
Yes. Tell us the budget in the first email and we will tell you honestly what fits it, whether that is a single render, a short feature film instead of a full line film, or a phased plan across two years. We would rather scope to your budget than lose the conversation.
How do you compare with other industrial studios?
Published guides put high-quality industrial 3D animation at roughly $5,000 to $20,000 per finished minute, with professional companies often quoting $8,000 to $25,000 and small studios $3,000 to $7,000. We sit in the lower half of that range because we work directly from your CAD with an engineer-led pipeline.
What is included in a fixed price?
CAD preparation, materials and lighting, the agreed deliverables, the revision rounds stated in the quote, and full commercial usage rights to those deliverables on final payment. Travel, licensed music beyond standard tracks and third-party voice talent are quoted separately.
How do you handle payment?
Projects under $5,000 are 50% to start and 50% before final files. Larger projects are staged 40, 30 and 30 against milestones. We invoice in USD or EUR and can work under your purchase order process.
Do prices change once we have a model on file?
Yes, downwards. Once your machine is prepared, later renders, films and interactive assets skip the most expensive step. Repeat projects are typically 20 to 40 per cent cheaper.
