How we built it.
Exploded views only work when the part order is correct. We sequenced the explode along the shaft axis from the engineering assembly, so every part sits where a service engineer would expect it.
Cast and painted surfaces, machined flanges, gasket materials and polished shafts were each given their own material, so the difference between cast, machined and sealing faces is visible.
The same explode is ready to animate: an assembly or service film that shows the pump coming apart and going back together.
