Challenge, approach, result.
- ChallengeThe client had only 2D technical illustrations of their specialised fiber optic systems. Flat drawings were insufficient for high-level marketing and could not demonstrate the three-dimensional refractive qualities and material layers that define the technology.
- ApproachWe performed a full 3D reconstruction from 2D engineering sketches, interpreting technical cross-sections to build accurate geometry from the ground up. Advanced material simulation then replicated the correct indices of refraction for the glass fiber cores and cladding.
- ResultMarketing assets for a product that had never been modelled in 3D, showing light behaviour that no photograph could capture.
